Axolotl Rancher is a cozy creature-collecting tycoon where you build and manage an aquatic sanctuary. Each axolotl has its own personality, colour morph, and needs — feed them, breed them, and discover rare variants as you expand your ranch from a single tank into a sprawling underwater wonderland.
Catch sunbeams filtering through the water, customize your tanks with plants and decorations, and watch your axolotls interact with each other in surprising ways. It's the kind of game you boot up for ten minutes, then realize it's been three hours.
Built in the Godot Engine with GDScript, Axolotl Rancher is our love letter to creature collectors and aquarium enthusiasts. The game features a custom water-rendering pipeline, procedural axolotl animations, and a breeding system that rewards patience.
